NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING

         

A Public Hearing on the proposed budget for 2027 for the Town of Dale, Outagamie County, Wisconsin will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Dale Municipal Building, W9641 State Road 96, Dale, WI 54931.  The purpose of the hearing is to present the 2027 Town Budget and provide an opportunity for public comment. 

A copy of the proposed budget in detail is available upon request.

          NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE TOWN ELECTORS Town of Dale, Outagamie County

 

Notice is hereby given, that a special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Dale, Outagamie County, Wisconsin will be held at the Dale Municipal Building, W9641 State Road 96, Dale, Wisconsin, on the 9^th day of November, 2026, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2027 town budget, which begins at 6:30p.m. 

 

The meeting is called pursuant to Wis. Stat. 60.12 for the following purpose:

 

1. To consider the adoption of a resolution by the electors at the town meeting endorsing a town board resolution which proposes that the town tax levy exceed the state allowable levy limit under Wis. Stat. § 66.0602, specifically a proposed tax levy which would exceed the allowable town tax levy for 2026, after adjustments, by 30.769%, for a dollar increase of $128,771.

 

2. To approve the Town Officer’s Salaries for the April 2027-2028 term, pursuant to Sec. 60.32 of WI Stats.

 

1. To adopt the 2026 town tax levy to be paid in 2027 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1) (a) of WI Stats.

 

1. To authorize the Town Board to hire Town Officials as employees of the Town and set an hourly wage pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(g) of WI Stats.

 

1. To approve the total year 2027 highway expenditures pursuant to sec. 82.03 (02).

 

 

 

SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

 

On Monday, November 9, 2026 immediately following the SPECIAL TOWN MEETING a Town Board meeting will be held to discuss and adopt the 2027 Budget for the Town of Dale.
